This Mercury Custom Coupe was built in 1992 by a long time professional builder in Nebraska. The body and chop work was also done in Nebraska. Terry discovered the Coupe in 2004, but wasn't able to get the owner to sell the vehicle until 2009. Refreshing the vehicle's condition took about three months to get it into pristine condition.
The Mercury has one several awards; including the Run To Ruidoso Car Show's club pick as Way Too Cool ride of the show, 1st runner up at Bastrop Veterans Car Show, and Best of Show in Austin, TX at the Texas Classic Car Show. Additionally, the vehicle has placed first in the Sun City, Texas Car Show, received the People's Choice Award at the Cruisin' Classics Car Show of Temple, AZ, and both the People's Choice and Best of Show at the Waco, Texas Triple C Car Show.
