Accounting Services
The Accounting Department handles the financial transactions for
the company. They keep day-by-day records of business transactions,
prepare financial statements and tax returns, prepare and file reports
required by state insurance divisions, and issue payroll as well
as other types of checks.

Control Accountant

| Knowledge: |

| Position Information: |
- Become knowledgeable in the control framework published by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) and in ANPAC’s control system and control standards.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the corporate-wide control documentation system.
- Assist in documenting and maintaining critical controls in the Control Management and Reporting System.
- Assist in the continuous maintenance of control processes and control documentation in accordance with the established control framework.
- Assist in the development and deployment of the test plans necessary to validate the control system on an annual basis.
- Assist in the development and preparation of the assessment reports on the control system necessary to satisfy the Sarbanes-Oxley annual requirement.
- Assist in the training of company personnel on ANPAC’s control system, control standards and documentation standards.
- Provide support and assistance to the SOX implementation teams established within each division.
- Assist internal auditors, independent auditors, state regulatory agencies, and various industry groups in the review and testing of the control system.
- Assist in any projects necessary to help fulfill the mission of the Financial Control Department.

Accountant I

Actuarial
Services
The Actuarial Services Department determines and justifies rates
for automobile, homeowners, and rental owner lines of insurance.
They are also accountable for auto, homeowners and rental owners
rates, rating rules, forms, as well as product development of all
underwriting rules and standards.

Regulatory Compliance Analyst I

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. | Position Information: |
- Prepare timely filing submissions to comply with state requirements for rate, rule and form filings.
- Communicate with Agent and insured regarding changes/updates. Create memo by working with Information Services, MITS & OIS, and distribute to agents and insureds.
- Communicate with MITS and IS regarding programming changes necessary for updating systems to comply with filed program changes and state insurance statutes and regulations.
- Work with Underwriting Services regarding filing and implementing underwriting guidelines to comply with state requirements and encourage achievement of underwriting profit.
- Acts as liaison between company and state insurance departments during discussions and negotiations related to rate, rule, and form filings resulting in approval of desired changes.
- Research and analyze state regulations, statutes, and case law to ensure compliance within state and company guidelines.
- Create, develop, maintain and revise forms, policies, endorsements, flyers, binders etc. as necessary.

Claims Services
The Claims Services Division is responsible for handling and settling
claims. They work with Divisional Support's Special Investigations
Unit (SIU), Minor Impact Soft Tissue Unit (MIST), and industry officials
to control severity as well as handle the administration of claim
files and draft requests.

Claims Representative Assistant-Material Damage

- Indexing of all material damage and subrogation documents, including the review and distribution of incoming mail.
- Maintain unit printers including sorting and distributing documents.
- Accurate and timely input of total loss valuations.
- Daily download of estimates and photos as required by volume.
- Accurate and timely request of title history information from web based applications.
- Accurate and timely processing of subrogation files to collection agencies as requested. Accurate and timely copying of files as appropriate.
- Daily and accurate input of subrogation proceeds to balance with accounting records.

Material Damage DRP/IA Field Advisor

MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience/proficiency preferred; automotive estimating software and automotive evaluating software experience/proficiency required. Prior experience with automotive appraisal process and repair procedures requires. |
| Specific Abilities: |
Ability to communicate and work with the public and company personnel cordially and respectfully is required. Must be familiar with P.D.I., Pathways, and the process of downloading and reviewing digitized estimates. Must be able to generate and keep accurate computerized reports on DRP shops and appraisers. Ability to travel extensively throughout the US is required. |

Must possess at least seven years’ experience in automotive appraisal process, in the repair and/or insurance industry. Must have knowledge of policy interpretation. |
| Position Information: |
- Assume responsibility for physical damage workflow between external and internal customers with direction from Material Damage Managers. Assist with management of divisional workflow efficiency and monitoring of CCR shops. Determine when external audits are necessary and monitor to completion.
- Manage the reinspection process of approved CCR shops to determine accuracy and compliance with ANPAC procedures.
- Assist the Divisional Material Damage Managers with the overall reinspection program as well as other programs and projects as they become necessary. Assist in the corrective measures to be taken for problem vendors.
- Assist the Divisional Material Damage Managers with the selection and training of the various direct repair shops.
- Appropriately use of acceptable Appraisal Quality software to audit and monitor.
- Receive supplement via fax or electronic mail. Conduct technical review, obtain appropriate documentation and forward recommendation regarding payment including summary of supplement, and proper payment destination to Claims Representative.
- Assist in the determination and selection of independent appraisers and CCR shops. Monitor and provide feedback to manager regarding field performance.
- Assure a high level of professional communication and service to internal customers through monitoring and efficiently handling work queues. Follow up as needed through computer system, telephone and personal contact to resolve to conclusion.

Divisional Support
The Divisional Support area handles claims litigation (Litigation
Unit), special investigation of alleged fraud, arson, etc. (SIU
Unit), claims involving minor impact and soft tissue injuries (MIST
Unit), claims involving agents' errors or omissions (E & O Claims),
and legal matters involving the corporation.
